This aging beauty still hosts major productions in the capital. Inaugurated in 1917, the theater was renovated in French classical style in the mid-20th century. Rehearsals permitting, free guided tours in Spanish are offered on Wednesdays between 8:30am and 3:30pm, though you may be allowed in to take a peek at other times. Entry is free unless you want to see a show.
