Hang En

Inside the worlds 3rd largest cave that has its own camping site and beach

Getty Images/iStockphoto

This gigantic cave is very close to Hang Son Doong; both have been featured in a National Geographic photographic spread. Getting here involves a trek through dense jungle, valleys and the Ban Doong minority village, a very remote tribal settlement (with no electricity or roads). You stay overnight at a campsite in the cave or in a minority village. Tours can be booked via Oxalis Adventure Tours or local accommodation.
