Arboretum of the Barnes Foundation

While her husband was tending his art collection Laura Leggett Barnes concentrated on their home's garden, founding a horticultural school here in 1940. The 12-acre arboretum includes over 2500 varieties of plants and more than 10,000 specimens of herbs.

This was the original location of the Barnes Foundation.
